Every change is a movement
IEMSuite never silently changes a number. Every time stock goes up or down it writes a movement to the log, so you always have a complete, timestamped audit trail. You can review it under Inventory → Transaction Log (the Stock Transactions Log).
The ten movement types

| Manual consumption | Stock consumed manually, outside a production batch |
| Stock adjustment | A direct quantity correction made on a specific lot |
Reading the log
Open Inventory → Transaction Log to filter and search the full history - by product, type, or date. Each entry ties back to the lot, location, quantity change, and the user who made it.
Why it matters
- Traceability - reconstruct exactly what happened to any lot.
- Audits & recalls - prove where every unit came from and went.
- Trust in your numbers - if a balance looks wrong, the log tells you why.
FAQ
Can I edit or delete a movement?
Movements are a permanent record. To correct a quantity, create an adjustment; the correction is logged as its own movement.
Where do these movements come from?
They're created automatically by receiving, production, shipping, transfers, and adjustments - you rarely create them by hand.
