From Shopify order to shipped
When your store is connected, Shopify orders land in IEMSuite automatically. You fulfill them with the same stock-accurate flow as any order, and the fulfillment flows back to Shopify.
Before you start
Your store must be connected and syncing. See Connecting your Shopify store.
Step 1 - The order syncs in
A new Shopify order appears under Orders as a B2C order, matched to your products by SKU.
Step 2 - Allocate and ship
Prepare a shipment for the order - pick lots (by FIFO/FEFO), add tracking, and confirm. Stock is deducted just like a manual order. See Preparing & tracking a shipment.
Step 3 - Fulfillment flows back
As you fulfill in IEMSuite, the result is reflected back to Shopify, and your Shopify stock levels stay in step with IEMSuite. See How Shopify inventory sync works.
Tips
- Keep SKUs identical across Shopify and IEMSuite so order lines map cleanly.
- Fulfill from IEMSuite (not Shopify) so stock and lots stay accurate.
FAQ
Do I manage Shopify stock in Shopify or IEMSuite?
In IEMSuite - it's the source of truth and pushes levels to Shopify.
What if a product doesn't match?
Check that the SKU in Shopify matches the product SKU in IEMSuite; that's the key used to link them.
