Managing customers & delivery addresses

Create customer records, add one or more delivery addresses, and reuse them when raising orders and shipments.

Keeping customer records tidy

Customers hold the details you reuse on every order and shipment - who they are and where deliveries go. Setting them up well means faster order entry and fewer shipping mistakes.

Step 1 - Create a customer

  1. Open Clients.
  2. Create a new customer and enter their details (Customer Details), including type where relevant.

Step 2 - Add delivery addresses

Add one or more delivery addresses (including the Street Address). B2B customers often have several ship-to locations; you can mark a default so it's pre-selected on new orders and shipments.

Step 3 - Reuse everywhere

When you create an order or prepare a shipment, pick the customer and one of their saved addresses - no re-typing.

Tips

  • Keep a clear default delivery address per customer to speed up shipping.
  • Use consistent naming so customers are easy to find at order time.
