Keeping your account secure
Your login protects your whole workspace. IEMSuite gives you password controls and automatic session protection, and pairs them with sensible defaults.
Change your password
- Open Settings → Security.
- Enter your current password and a new one, and save.
Password best practices
The Security page reinforces the basics that stop most account compromises:
- Strong - use a long, hard-to-guess password.
- Unique - don't reuse a password from another account.
- Rotate - change it every 3–6 months.
Sessions
Signed-in sessions expire automatically after a period of inactivity, so an unattended screen doesn't stay open indefinitely. If your session times out, just sign in again.
Access is scoped by role
Beyond your password, what you can see and do is governed by your role and permissions - so even inside the workspace, access is limited to what each person needs.
