QC in IEMSuite is not a checklist beside your stock. It is enforced inside allocation: a lot waiting for inspection physically cannot be shipped or consumed. That is the whole point. Holding and releasing stock covers what that block looks like day to day, and what monitoring tools leave out explains why a logged deviation is not the same as contained stock.
Quality Control is included on Growth and Scale plans.
When a QC-flagged product is received or produced, its lot starts asPENDING_QCand is excluded from FIFO/FEFO allocation at the database level. No training, no discipline, no "please don't touch the untested pallet" sign required.
An inspection records measurements against your test parameters, then ends in one of three outcomes. Running an inspection shows how those parameters are set.
The lot becomes AVAILABLE. Orders and production batches can allocate it from this moment on.
The lot moves to QUARANTINE. It is physically blocked from every allocation until you re-inspect or open an NCR.
Not a clean pass. The lot also goes to QUARANTINE for a decision - use it with restrictions, rework it, or reject it.
A failed lot deserves more than a shrug. An NCR records the defect with a severity (MINOR, MAJOR, CRITICAL), the root cause, and the corrective and preventive action taken, then moves through a real lifecycle. VERIFICATION is its own state because corrective action on its own is a plan, and a correction is not a corrective action. Raising an NCR walks through each state, and quality control software for manufacturing places this beside the other categories sold under that name.
Generate a CoA PDF from a completed inspection when a customer or auditor asks for one - the measurements are already on record. Keeping those records retrievable is its own requirement: what the rules ask of your records covers how long they have to survive.
A report moves OPEN, then INVESTIGATING, then CORRECTIVE_ACTION, then VERIFICATION, then CLOSED. VOID sits outside the sequence for reports raised in error. Verification is its own state because corrective action on its own is a plan rather than a result.
Triage: severity, category, affected lots.
Establish the root cause.
Do the thing that stops it recurring.
Confirm the fix actually worked.
Nothing outstanding.
VOID sits outside the sequence, for a report raised in error. It is not a way out of verification.
QC and NCR are included on Growth and Scale plans. See the pricing page for the current plan lineup.
Yes. From quarantine you can re-inspect the lot (for example after rework). A passing re-inspection releases it back to AVAILABLE.
You define test parameters per product (values, ranges, pass criteria). Inspections record actual measurements against them, so the verdict has data behind it.
Yes. Finished goods from a production batch can enter as PENDING_QC just like received materials, so nothing you made ships untested either.
Inspections, quarantine, and NCRs enforced inside allocation itself.
