IEMSuite vs MRPeasy
MRPeasy is one of the longest-running cloud MRP tools for small manufacturers, and plenty of teams run well on it. The biggest structural difference is how you pay: MRPeasy charges per user, IEMSuite does not. Here is a fair look at both.
What is MRPeasy?
MRPeasy is a cloud MRP system for small manufacturers, established in the market for over a decade, with production planning, BOM management, and a per-user subscription model.
Where MRPeasy does well
A comparison you can trust starts by being fair to the other side.
- More than a decade in the market, with a mature production planning and scheduling engine.
- Broad accounting integrations, including QuickBooks Online and Xero.
- A structured, tiered feature set that grows with plan level.
Published pricing
MRPeasy publishes per-user pricing across four tiers: Starter $49, Professional $69, and Enterprise $99 per user/month (no stated minimum), plus Unlimited at $149/user/month with a 2-user minimum. Users 11 and up are bundled at $79 per 10-user block on every tier. Quality control is gated to the Professional tier and above.

Where IEMSuite takes a different approach
Everything below describes shipped behavior, not roadmap.
No per-seat pricing
IEMSuite plans gate features, not people. Your QC inspector, warehouse picker, and part-time bookkeeper can all have accounts without the invoice growing per head. On per-user tools, teams often share logins to save money, which destroys the audit trail.
Shopify is native, not connected
IEMSuite runs as an embedded app inside Shopify admin with session-token auth and bi-directional sync. Orders, inventory levels, and products stay in step without a third-party connector.
QC blocks bad stock at the database level
In IEMSuite, a lot in PENDING_QC or quarantine physically cannot be allocated to an order or a production batch. The rule lives in the allocation engine, not in a checklist someone has to remember.
Cost known per order, frozen at allocation
Every allocation snapshots the unit cost of the exact lots consumed, so COGS and margin per order are locked the moment stock is committed, not recalculated later from averages.

Which one fits your operation?
MRPeasy is probably right if
- You need detailed finite-capacity production scheduling today.
- Your accounting lives in QuickBooks or Xero and that integration is non-negotiable.
- You prefer a tool with a long public track record.
IEMSuite is probably right if
- Per-user pricing is pushing you to share logins or leave people out of the system.
- You sell on Shopify and want inventory inside Shopify admin, not beside it.
- Expiry dates, FEFO, and QC holds matter to your product (food, cosmetics, supplements).
Frequently asked questions
Is IEMSuite an MRPeasy alternative?
Yes. IEMSuite covers the same core ground - BOMs and recipes, production batches, lot-tracked inventory, purchasing and sales orders - with a different pricing model (per plan instead of per user) and a native embedded Shopify app.
How does MRPeasy pricing work?
As published on mrpeasy.com in July 2026, MRPeasy charges per user per month across four tiers from $49 (Starter) to $149 (Unlimited) - only the Unlimited tier requires a 2-user minimum. Check their pricing page for current figures, since vendors change pricing.
Does IEMSuite charge per user?
No. IEMSuite plans differ by features (like QC and cost analytics) and warehouse count, not by how many people log in.
