Beta Program & Free Access

IEMSuite is in active BETA. Subscription billing is off during Early Access. Learn which access rules still apply and how to prepare your workspace.

Active Beta

IEMSuite is in public BETA

The system is in active development. We keep shipping improvements and refining existing features based on your feedback. In return for your patience and bug reports, subscription billing is off during Early Access. Feature availability still depends on workspace settings, permissions and module-specific access rules.

What Beta Means for You

"BETA" means the product is real and working, but not yet at the polish level we consider production-ready. You may encounter:

  • Minor UI glitches - layout issues, missing loading states, inconsistent styling
  • Edge-case bugs - unusual workflows may hit unexpected errors
  • Feature gaps - some documented features are still being refined
  • Occasional slow responses - sync jobs and large data queries are still being optimized

Access rules still apply:

  • Workspace isolation - every organization's records are isolated from every other organization.
  • Role permissions - sign-in, roles and permissions apply to every screen and action.
  • Module-specific access - OEE, SPC, genealogy, CAPA, Andon and calibration require Scale, while IEQ needs separate forecasting access.

Free Access and Feature Availability

Full Inventory

Products, lots, warehouses and storage locations.

Manufacturing

Recipes, BOM, production batches, and production lines.

Quality Control

QC inspections, test parameters, NCR reports.

Shopify Sync

Full bi-directional sync - orders, inventory, fulfillments.

Cost Analytics

COGS tracking, margin analysis, production costs.

Team Members

Invite your entire team, set granular RBAC roles.

No subscription payment is required while billing is off. Standard recipe, QC and cost-analysis gates and standard usage quotas are bypassed in this mode. OEE, SPC, genealogy, CAPA, Andon and calibration still require Scale; IEQ retains its separate workspace access and request allowance. Role permissions remain in force.

How to Make the Most of the Beta

1

Check a small workflow first

Review products, locations and permissions with your team before importing the rest of your operational records.

2

Connect Shopify early

If you use Shopify, connect it in your first session. The Shopify integration is one of the most important systems - more data means more stable sync.

3

Invite your team

Add your warehouse staff, production managers, and QC inspectors. Multi-user workflows reveal issues that solo testing misses.

4

Use it for real operations

The best beta testers are those running real business operations through the system. This is how we find and fix real issues.

5

Report anything that feels wrong

You don't need a reproducible bug. If something feels off, slow, confusing, or broken - tell us. Every report improves the product.

Reporting Bugs & Feedback

Three ways to reach us:

Bug Reports

Open a support ticket from Help (the question mark in the header) → My support tickets, or email [email protected]. Include what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead.

Feature Requests

Email us at [email protected]. Tell us what workflow is missing and why it matters to your business. We prioritize features by real-world impact.

General Feedback

Use the Contact page at iemsuite.com/contact. We read every message.

What Happens When Beta Ends

When we graduate from BETA to general availability, billing will be introduced. Here is exactly what that transition looks like:

Beta → GA Transition Timeline

Announcement

You receive an email announcing the transition and plan pricing, well before anything changes.

Heads-up period

Prices become visible on iemsuite.com and a banner reminds you to review plans. Billing is still off - nothing is charged.

Transition day

Billing becomes active. You select a plan and enter payment details. No data is lost regardless of plan choice.

Your data is safe regardless of plan selection. Even if you downgrade to a lower plan at GA, all your historical records (transactions, orders, QC inspections) are preserved. A lower plan can also hide or block a module, including its historical views. Retained records are not a promise of continued access to that module.

Stay Informed

To receive beta updates, transition notices, and new feature announcements:

  • Make sure your account email is current (Workspace settings → My profile)
  • Read product updates on the IEMSuite blog at blog.iemsuite.com
The beta period has no fixed end date. The transition to paid plans is announced to every organization in advance, before anything is charged.
