Account Security & Email

Manage your password, enable email verification, and understand account messages from IEMSuite.

Add an email verification step to password sign-ins. You manage this setting for your own account in the web dashboard.

Enable Two-Step Verification

  1. Open Workspace settings → Security.
  2. Under Two-step verification, check the account email shown and enter your current password.
  3. Select Send verification code and open the message from IEMSuite.
  4. Enter the six-digit code, then select Verify and enable.
  5. Sign in again. Earlier web sessions become invalid after this security change.
Keep your mailbox secure. Email verification depends on access to that address. Never share a code with anyone, including someone claiming to be IEMSuite support.
Shopify manages authentication for embedded sessions. This setting protects IEMSuite password sign-ins; it does not replace Shopify account security.

Sign In With a Code

Enter your email and password as usual. If verification is enabled, the next screen asks for the code sent to your account email. Enter it to complete sign-in.

  • Codes expire after 10 minutes and can be used once.
  • Requesting another code replaces the previous code for that action.
  • Wait 60 seconds before resending. Up to five sends are allowed per hour for the same action.
  • A code is blocked after five incorrect attempts. Sign-in and security-setting request limits also apply.

Turn Verification Off

Open Security, enter your password and select Send code to turn off. Enter the email code and select Confirm and turn off. You will need to sign in again. Turning verification off removes the email-code step from future password sign-ins.

Security Reminders

When verification is off, the web dashboard can show a setup reminder. Select Not now · 7 days to hide it for seven days in that browser. Clearing browser storage or using another browser can make it appear again.

Account Emails

IEMSuite sends account messages for workspace registration and its approval or rejection, account setup or invitations, password resets, and support conversations. Availability depends on the action taken and your account.

Security messages include requested verification codes and notifications after a password change or after verification is enabled or disabled. Security notifications never include your password or a verification code. If you did not make a reported change, reset your password and contact support.

If an Email Does Not Arrive

  1. Check the account address shown on screen.
  2. Check spam, junk and any company email quarantine.
  3. Wait for the resend timer, then request a new code. Use the most recent message for that action.
  4. If the app reports a sending failure, retry later or contact your workspace administrator or IEMSuite support.

If you lose access to your mailbox, contact support. The app does not provide recovery codes or an authenticator-app option for this email verification feature.
